What this site collects

This site has no accounts, no sign-up form, no comment box, and no analytics or advertising trackers. It does not set cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is a single local flag remembering that you have already been shown the one-time offer pop-up, so it is not shown again; it lives in your own browser, is never transmitted anywhere, and is cleared whenever you clear your site data.

Fonts

Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser requests those font files directly from Google, which means Google receives the request, including your IP address, as it would for any resource loaded from a third party. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Buying a book

Payment is taken by Stripe, a separate company, on Stripe’s own secure checkout page. Your card details are given to Stripe, not to us, and are governed by Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy. We never see or store your card details.

When you buy, Stripe gives us the order record it provides to sellers: what you bought, the amount, and the name and email address you entered. We use them to deliver your books and to answer questions about your order. To limit each download link to three downloads per file, this site keeps a small record of how many times each file in your order has been downloaded, stored with Cloudflare and keyed to Stripe’s order number.

Your order email, with the link to your downloads, is sent through Resend, an email delivery service, which receives your email address for that purpose only. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server request data, such as IP addresses, for delivery and security purposes. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, write to [email protected] from the email address you bought with. The same address answers any other question about an order or about this policy.
